I am the proud widow of a Cystic Fibrosis Hero. For 52 years, my husband battled every day just to breathe — and he did it with grace, strength, and without complaint. He never let CF define him. Instead, he lived fully, with purpose, humor, deep love for our family, his career as a chemist, and his loyal dogs.

Thanks to the advancements made possible by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and their Great Strides campaign, my husband lived well beyond expectations. We are grateful for the life he had — and for the extra time those treatments gave us together.

Today, I walk to honor his memory.
I walk to add more tomorrows for others fighting CF.
