My Great Strides Story

This year, I’m proud to be walking with Team Britton Bucks, a group named after my dear friend Aaron Britton. I’ve had the privilege of knowing Aaron through his work at the Wilton YMCA and his many years as our camp director. He’s shown me what true leadership looks like, always leading with kindness and compassion. In 2022, I was honored to be recognized at the CF Finest Event for my fundraising work through the YMCA, and I’m excited to continue this journey toward a cure.

There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis, and far too many people with CF lose their lives at a young age. I’m walking to help change that.

Cystic fibrosis is a genetic, life-limiting condition that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other critical organs. It makes breathing difficult and increases the risk of serious infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.

Each person with CF has their own unique journey, and this disease impacts everyone in different ways. While we've made important progress, there is still a long road ahead for so many who are fighting this devastating disease. A cure is urgently needed so that everyone with CF has a better chance at living a long, healthy life.

Will you help us make that a reality?

Your donation can help fund the research and breakthroughs that will bring us closer to a cure for all those living with CF.

Thank you for supporting this cause that means so much to so many.
