Dear Family and Friends,
C’mon. Admit it. You could probably use a little magic in your life right about now. Our granddaughter Zoey likes to create her own. She was gifted with a wish from the Make a Wish Foundation this year. She asked to be a model for a day. If you know Zoey, you know that’s spot on! Feeling a little bit like Cinderella, Zoey was picked up in a limo and taken to a studio for makeup, hair, wardrobe and action! She learned the art of modeling and showcased some beautiful clothes. Zoey’s magical wish day showed her the possibilities in her future. She embraced the experience with such joy.
We desperately want our wish day to come where a cure is found for Zoey’s Cystic Fibrosis. We’re getting closer, but there’s still much work to be done. That’s why we’re again partnering with the CF Foundation to raise funds for a cure. They are the leader in funding research and development of drugs and therapies to fight the disease. They’re funding multiple approaches to genetic therapies. They’re also funding new research for drugs to address difficult-to-treat bacteria as well as developing the next-generation of modulators to offer more therapeutic choices for people with CF. Such hopeful possibilities!
We’ll again be participating in the Great Strides Walkathon this year on Sunday, June 8th in New Bedford, MA. We’d be so grateful if you can make a donation in Zoey’s honor. Team Zoey Alexa has raised more than $17,000 since we began several years ago. We hope to keep the momentum going! The CF Foundation is one of the most cost-effective organizations in the country. Rest assured your pledge will make a difference.
