Hello beautiful striders 💜 On our team we raise funds to help support finding a cure for CF, but more importantly we raise awareness, and support for all those around us!
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. While I may seem happy and healthy, I rely on medications daily to stay that way! And of course some days are not as easy as others. The most recent drug, Tricafta, has absolutely changed my life for the better, BUT it’s not a cure - so we continue to stride to be better!
