My Great Strides story
Fundraising for Ocean City Great Strides 2026
Meghan Kozlowski
Bodily trust is a constant intuition. Even when we feel like it’s not working, it is. Waking up every morning you feel your vital signs—your heart bump, your lungs fill and empty, and you analyze those swirling thoughts. The human body always wants to keep running smoothly, and I’ve found that despite the hundreds of thousands of pills, nebulizer, and IV meds I’ve had to use to keep those operations running over the past 36 years, I’ve been lucky enough to get here, to this point where my body is choosing to still continuously heal and repair. To this moment where I can take a breath without pain or anxiety about what the day will bring. My motors are running mostly for others now as I’ve transitioned into being a mom and I couldn’t be more grateful to be able to be here for everyone.
This year for our CFF great strides walk, I want to extend a huge thank you for letting me wake up every day and be able to re-assess. As a patient,
As a mom, as a wife, as a daughter, as a sister, as a PT, and as a friend. Re-assess what my body is doing with less fatigue and more courage. There is no cure for CF and the routine is a grind, but thank you for allowing me to face these challenges every day with more strength than I could have ever imagined.
I have no challenge to offer this year for our CFF walk event -this kills me because I love this every year -but please know every donation and walk attendee means everything to me and my family. Thank you is never ever enough 💜🤍!
Our walk date is Saturday 4/25 , 10-11AM.
1 mile walk , starting at ocean city high school.
Please join us for the walk, or be a virtual walker/donate online for team Breathing & Beating. Thank you for your love and support always !
B&B,
Meg
