On September 14th I will be climbing the 42 stories (840 steps) of "Big Pink" in Portland to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

But wait, there's more: I'll be climbing those 40 stories while wearing 70 lbs of firefighting "bunker" gear.

That's not all: I'll be climbing those 800 steps while breathing through a Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA).

So, I think the least you can do is click on the link below and make a donation toward my $3,500 fundraising goal. $1 for each of the 40 stories? Or maybe ten cents a step ($80)? Any amount, large or small - OR LARGE - will be used to find a cure.

Okay, I get it: The least you can do is nothing. But you should take advantage of my clear lack of common sense and good judgment. Encourage my foolhardiness with your generous support. Then, who knows what ill-considered activity I'll sign up for next!
