This is Team Riddhi's fifteenth year at Great Strides! My name is Riddhi Mahajan, I am an 18 year old living with Cystic Fibrosis, and this is my third year leading Team Riddhi for Great Strides. My mother, Amita Mahajan, started Team Riddhi in 2010 when we used to live in California, and Great Strides has been such a big part of my life ever since. 

For those of you who don't know, Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.  

Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. While progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.

As a patient with Cystic Fibrosis, I am very passionate about the cause and have been participating in fundraising and advocacy efforts for the past couple years. I have dreams to go to college, keep singing and performing in musicals, and to work in the medical field myself one day. With your help, we can give every CF patient the opportunity to fulfill their dreams and live long, healthy lives. 

I am so grateful for all the love and support I have received from Team Riddhi these past fifteen years! This year, we have an ambitious goal of $10,000 to really make an impact on the CF community and help fund ongoing research for genetic therapies to cure all CF patients. So, we'd truly appreciate your contribution and we'd also love to see you at the walk if you can make it!
