My CF Cycle for Life Story
Fundraising for Pittsburgh CF Cycle for Life 2026
Mary Joseph
While I have recently retired from my staff role with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the drive to find a cure for everyone living with CF remains deeply rooted in my heart. My commitment to this mission hasn't changed.
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. It makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure. Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently.
That's why I am proud to ride as part of Team Pat Made Us Do This. Our team has gone the distance for many years to ensure no one is left on the sidelines, and we aren't stopping now. While progress has been incredible, a long road still lies ahead for far too many people fighting this disease.
Will you help us end cystic fibrosis? By donating to my fundraising goal, you directly advance the vital research and science needed to achieve our shared dream: of a cure for every single person with CF.
