Join Quiksilver celebrity pro-surfer and event ambassador, Reef McIntosh, at this year's 6th annual Paddle for CF surf event benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation on Sunday, May 9 in Huntington Beach. Paddle for CF brings surfers and paddlers together as they compete while raising funds and awareness for a cure for cystic fibrosis. Enjoy a morning of surf, fun, food, giveaways, and SO much more while we help get one step closer to making CF stand for Cure Found!

About the Event

Paddle for CF began in 2019 as a paddle out to honor those who have lost their battle with cystic fibrosis. Since its inception, the event has changed to offer a variety of different contests, including paddle races with both prone (laying down) and SUP (stand-up paddle) racecourses, surf expression sessions, and more. This year, Paddle for CF will feature a paddle relay contest.
- Paddle for CF is FREE and there is NO fundraising minimum
- All participants that fundraise $100 or more will receive an event t-shirt
- Participants are encouraged to ask their network to help them reach their desired fundraising goal by donating to their fundraising page
- Participants will compete for top fundraising prizes from our sponsors!

Join us to cure CF

Step 1: Register as an Individual or create a Team.

Step 2: Recruit! If you created a team, ask your friends and family to join your team! If you registered as an individual, ask your friends and family to join you on the day of the event as a spectator.

Step 3: Fundraise! Ask your friends and family to support your competition efforts by donating to your fundraising page.  Post on social media and share with your network your competition efforts and ask them to support you by making a donation to your fundraising page! 

Step 4: Compete! Join us on the day of the event and be ready to compete with other paddlers and surfers! The day will begin with registration opening at 8:00 AM at Huntington Beach State Park in the parking lot on PCH and Huntington Street. Maps will be provided leading up to the event.
Step 5: Prizes! Be a top fundraiser, paddler, and/or surfer and win prizes from our amazing sponsors!

Events may be subject to change based on health or safety concerns. If an event is moved to virtual, sponsorship benefits may be adjusted to fit that format. If an event is cancelled, your local contact will reach out to discuss options.
