My Great Strides Story

I'm walking in this year's Cystic Fibrosis Walk in honor of two people who hold a special place in my heart.
My cousin Deidre was a warrior-living with CF her entire life, undergoing a double lung transplant, and never letting the disease define her. She embraced every single day with strength, humor, and grace. I miss her deeply, and I carry her spirit with me always.
I'm also walking for baby Joseph-my girlfriend's grandson-who was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at just 7 days old. No child should have to face this kind of fight from the very beginning.
Cystic fibrosis is a progressive, genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. While treatments have come a long way, there is still no cure. That's why I'm asking for your support.
Please consider donating-no amount is too small. Let's raise the funds needed to fuel research, advance treatments, and bring us one step closer to a cure. For Deidre. For Joseph. For every person and every family fighting CF.
Will you help us end cystic fibrosis?
By donating to my fundraising goal, you have the power to advance the research and science needed to drive our shared dream forward - a cure for everyone with CF.
