Hi Peeps! Well, here I am thinking I am going to 'run' the Peachtree Road Race in Atlanta HAHA... but for a good cause! Our Brandon is now 31! I still remember him in the NICU all those years ago, hearing from the doc that he had cystic fibrosis... not knowing what it is, asking 'you don't die from it, do you?' the doctor simply responding with 'yes.' Wish I could go back and give that doc a piece of my mind and show him our 6'2" healthy guy! He is now a PHD in ChemE, works for the NRC and is married to his best friend Catey. THIS is directly thanks to many of YOU for helping with fundraising for all these years. He is on a disease-altering drug called Alyftrek and it has been seriously life-changing. Many challenges still exist for everyone with CF, alas we are all still fundraising.
