Great Strides Point Pleasant CF Walk 2026
EVERYONE IS WELCOME: The Point Pleasant Great Strides Cystic Fibrosis Walk on the boardwalk, Saturday, May 16th. Register to Walk with our Gethsemane Lutheran Church Team online or donate to a Walker. Meet at the Bandshell on Arnold Ave. Breakfast at 10:00, Walk at 11:00. Easy 3 mile walk on the lovely Point Pleasant Boardwalk. Rides open for kids at 12:00. Such a fun get-together. Hope to see you there!
We walk in memory of Melissa and Amanda and in honor of the Cokelet family and friends community, and many others who have been touched by CF in one way or another. The struggle is so real, but the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is an extraordinary organization of research and cure. Please provide your support towards overcoming this disease.
Noteworthy, is that our Keyport group have been participating in this yearly great Strides Point Pleasant CF Walk for 38+ years. We’ve walked with babies in strollers, Youth Group kids, even jogging adults. Now we walk in memory of two beautiful ladies who died from the disease, but also in honor of Melissa’s two beautiful and amazing daughters, continuing to keep their legacy alive and a cure in the horizon.
