$8 for Aurora's Golden 8th birthday! She is 8, on the 8th of this month!

We are celebrating eight incredible years of strength, song, and hope while raising awareness for cystic fibrosis.

Aurora was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at birth. Today, she is a strong, joyful, almost 8-year-old who loves cheerleading, swimming, singing, and spending hours doing arts and crafts. If you met her, you might never realize the daily routine behind her healthy smile.

Every day Aurora does two airway clearance vest treatments and breathing treatments with albuterol. She also takes medications like Trikafta and Creon that help her body function the way it needs to. These treatments take time and dedication, but they allow her to do the things she loves most.

We are incredibly grateful that Aurora is healthy enough to run, play, swim, and live a full childhood. Just a few years ago, many children with cystic fibrosis didn't have the same opportunities that new medications are making possible today.

On March 8th Aurora turns 8 years old. Instead of gifts this year, we are asking friends and family to consider making a donation in honor of her birthday to support research and care for people living with cystic fibrosis. If 50 people donated $8 each, that's $400 raised for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation!

Every donation helps move us closer to better treatments and, one day, a cure.Thank you for loving and supporting Aurora and for helping give hope to so many families living with CF.

Happy 8th Birthday Aurora!
