CF to Ironman
Jack Stouty
There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis, and too many people with CF feel that their dreams are out of reach due to the lower life expectancy. I was born with CF in 2001 and have grown up facing its challenges every day. Now, I’m training to be the youngest person—and only the third ever—with CF to complete a full-distance Ironman to help change that reality.
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. It makes breathing a daily challenge and fighting infections an uphill battle. But despite these obstacles, I refuse to let CF define my limits.
Every person with CF faces a unique journey, and while treatments have improved, too many still struggle with the daily toll of this disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has the chance to live a long, healthy, and limitless lives.
By supporting this cause, you’re not just helping me cross the Ironman finish line—you’re helping push CF research forward, giving hope to thousands who fight this battle every day. Together, we can prove that no challenge is too great and no dream is out of reach.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
