Emma's journey has taken many turns. She has had numerous hospitalizations of 10 days to 2 weeks in length, several sinus surgeries and lung scopes, taken countless medications and therapies. Most of that changed in November of 2019. The medication Trikafta was approved for use. It has been a real game changer. She no longer takes any CF medicine but Trikafta. She no longer does any therapies. Her lungs have been stable for many years. Sadly, not every CF patient can take Trikafta. They are still living that awful life. Please help us make CF stand for Cure Found and help those who still suffer daily.
