Hi,
I’m Linus, and this is my very first Cystic Fibrosis Great Strides Walk. I’m a 10-month-old Golden Retriever, and I’m very excited to be there. I’m super cute, very friendly, and deeply committed to putting basically everything in my mouth. Toys, sticks, leaves, mystery objects off the ground... I believe in giving everything a fair taste test. Honestly, if CF were a rock, I’d probably try to eat that too.

I can’t wait to walk with my buddies, raise money, and do my part to help crush CF. My big sister Hana will be walking too, and she’s helping show me how it’s done. Please come out and join us, cheer us on, and help support the fight against CF. I’ll be the fluffy one stealing hearts and possibly carrying something I’m not supposed to have.

CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.

Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. While progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.

Will you help us end cystic fibrosis?

By donating to my fundraising goal, you have the power to advance the research and science needed to drive our shared dream forward – a cure for everyone with CF.
