Dear friends and family,
Once again, I am participating in the Great Strides walk to cure cystic fibrosis. I started doing this walk in 1993 as a way to honor my best friend Janis, who died of the disease in 1991 at the age of 19. This is my 34th consecutive year of doing this walk!
Janis was in college majoring in Elementary Education when she succumbed to this disease. I wish that she could have lived her dreams, but her life was full and the effects of the life she lived are far-reaching and on-going!
