My Great Strides Story

Fundraising for Sarasota Great Strides
Robert Boisselle
There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and too many people with CF die young. I keep walking to help change that reality...especially for my granddaughter, Emily.
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. Thanks to research funded, in part, by events such as this Great Strides Walk, Emily is thriving. She turns 24, this August, and is wrapping up he second year at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. It's a fitting career path...especially when you consider that the drugs that have been developed through the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's research have made such an incredible difference in Emily's life.
Will you help us end cystic fibrosis, once and for all?
