I have been raising funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for 11 years, and you all have helped me raise a grand total of $16,149! My goal for 2025 is to raise $3,850 to make our cumulative total $20,000! Last year, we raised $2,500, so I'm asking each of you to consider donating what you did last year and a bit more. If everyone who gave $25, gave $38, we will reach our goal!
I put together the collage on the top of this page with pictures from all of the walk that I have led or attended as a staff person in Ohio (Oxford, Cincinnati & Dayton), Kentucky, Oregon (Portland, Eugene, Redmond, Corvallis & Salem), Washington (Vancouver, Seattle, Tri-Cities &Tulalip) and Alaska (Anchorage & Wasilla). This year I'm excited to add Gig Harbor and Spokane, WA to my list! These events are the most inspiring: seeing families who have just begun their journey with CF, those who have been fighting for years, and those who have lost their loved ones to CF and continue to support the cause renews my commitment to this cause each year.

We need help more than ever to keep fundraising going as funds to the NIH and FDA are being cut. This will cause a huge effect on research, and we can't afford to lose progress. We are so close to a cure, and with your help, we can continue our work to make sure people with CF can live long, healthy lives. Thank you for your past support and for continuing to contribute year after year. I'm so grateful that I can count on you to be with me in the fight against cystic fibrosis until CF stands for Cured Forever!
There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and too many people with CF die young. I’m walking to help change that reality.
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. While progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.
