Amslers’ Army
When Lisa was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis (CF) in 1992, the median age of survival was around 31 years old. Today, thanks to the significant medical advancements in treatment and care, patients with CF are living well into their 50's and beyond.
Lisa continues to live a healthy, fulfilled life and remains optimistic for her own future as well as the future of every person born with this terrible disease.
While the CF Foundation has made incredible progress, not everyone with CF can benefit from existing therapies and we still need a cure. This will require time, funding, and persistence – but with your support – we are committed to making “CF” stand for “Cure Found!”
