What I am doing and why.
There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and too many people with CF die young. I'm walking to help change that reality. I am walking for my nephew Wyatt. He was diagnosed at just a couple weeks old and now at over a year he is doing great. However he still has an uncertain future full of treatments and tests, and questions. I am hoping to raise money so those like Wyatt who have rare genes can one day also have treatments that will change their lives.
What is Cystic Fibrosis?
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
