This year, with the Changing Altitudes team, I'm hiking 30.1 miles of the Appalachian Trail in one day as part of the 2025 Spring Xtreme Hike to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis⛰️

When my wife Sarah was first born, her doctors gave her little hope that she’d make it to see her 18th birthday. That
was the reality for those living with Cystic Fibrosis, and still is for too many. CF is a rare genetic disease that affects the lungs and gradually the whole body, making it harder & harder to breathe. Through the support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the funds raised from the Xtreme Hike, a miracle drug called Trikafta came along, and for many seemed to almost be a cure. Sarah graduated college in 2020, we got married in 2021, and bought our first house in 2022. She’s been able to reduce doctors visits, cut out most pills, and even reduce daily treatments. But this drug is not a cure, and it doesn't work for all those with Cystic Fibrosis. So we continue to hike, we continue to support the search for a cure, and we continue to climb that mountain, because the peak is right around the corner.

Your donation has and will continue to make an impact in the lives of those with Cystic Fibrosis. Thank you for helping CF stand for Cure Found.
