My hike story - Stride for a cure!

Embarking on a remarkable journey of resilience and determination, I am gearing up to cover an awe-inspiring 30.8 miles in a single day on the challenging terrain of the Appalachian Trail.  This endeavor isn’t just a personal challenge; it’s a call to action in the fight against Cystic Fibrosis- a cause deeply personal to me as I have a great-grandfather who passed at the age of 42 from CF and now two young cousins Sophia and Joseph who have CF.

WHY 30.1 miles

Each step along those 30.1 miles represents a collective stride towards hope, a symbol of the challenges faced by those battling Cystic Fibrosis, and a commitment to finding a cure.  Sophia and Joseph’s courage in the face of this genetic disorder fuels my determination to turn this hike into a beacon of awareness and support. It is no small endeavor, but it is small in comparison to the challenges those with CF battle each day.  The Appalachian Trail, with its rugged beauty and untamed wilderness, serves as the backdrop to this fundraising journey. As I navigate the terrain, I hope to mirror the resilience required to combat Cystic Fibrosis and bring attention to the urgent need for a cure!  Your support is instrumental in transforming this hike into a powerful force for change!  Please contribute to the fight and make a donation and spread the word about this fundraising hike as awareness is a catalyst for change and your voice can make a difference.  Thank you for supporting this cause and my story!
