In the summer of 2009, Mason was just 5 days old when he was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis (CF). After the initial shock of that phone call subsided, we felt we needed to do whatever we could to help anyone who ever gets or has gotten that phone call. Thanks to revolutionary new CF medications over Mason's life time, life expectancy for those with CF has increased by over a year for every year that Mason has been alive! We continue to raise money for the CF Foundation because we feel that the ultimate goal, a cure for CF, is within reach.

CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.

Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. While progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.

Will you help us end cystic fibrosis?
Wouldn't it be awesome to add to your life's resume that you helped to cure Cystic Fibrosis?! By donating to my fundraising goal, you have the power to advance the research and science needed to drive our shared dream forward – a cure for everyone with CF.

Thank you for considering!
Love,
Stacy (Mason's Mom)
