Dear Family and Friends,
I am writing to you during Holy Week and praying for you all. I am also praying for all those living with cystic fibrosis. With the advancements made, some are living longer but there are those who do not qualify for any modulator therapy and who are not surviving their battle.
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has done such an incredible job in discovering therapies that have greatly impacted so many lives. But the work is not done. They are funding genetic therapy research (which will be the cure for all) but they are also funding research for new antibiotics, transplant medications to prevent rejection, CF-related diabetes care and so much more to improve the lives of all living with CF. There is still so much to do and they need funding to continue their mission.
This is why I walk and fundraise for the CF Foundation. I want the best of everything for people living with CF. Frank and I will be walking at the Suffolk walk on May 17th. The walk will take place at Holtsville Ecology Center from 10-12 (registration prior to 10). It is a day filled with hope, joy and support for those with CF and their families. If you cannot make it, please, consider a donation to our team. (online donations on the same website) This is the only walk we will be doing this year.
Our children, Nicole, Dustin and Katelyn, are doing well. They take very good care of themselves. All 3 of them were blessed with a baby this year. Yes, 3 within 3 months!! We are overjoyed with our 3 additions and the health of our children which made it possible for them to add to their families. We never could have imagined this 25 years ago but with God all things are possible.
We are so very grateful for all of you and your constant support of us and the CF Foundation. You are a blessing to us and we pray that God blesses you abundantly.
