I am walking for the first time this year for someone very special — Drew, he is Tom's sweet 3-year-old grandson, who lives with cystic fibrosis.
 

CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. Even at such a young age, children like Drew face daily treatments, medications, and challenges most of us can’t imagine. Despite it all, he is an amazing little boy with so much life, strength, and joy.
 

While there has been important progress in treatment and research, there is still no cure for cystic fibrosis, and too many people with CF still face an uncertain future. I’m walking to help change that — for Drew and for every family affected by this disease.
