I am a parent a mother to the most amazing little boy in the world and so precious to me my son Brantley who unfortunately was born with cystic fibrosis and this little boy has really made me look at life so differently and has taught me so many things! In just a few years that he has been on this Earth he has touched so many people and been through so much but he does it with smile on his face constantly laughing and so happy and asking of so very little! He instantly lights up a room when he walks in with his smile and you can't help but smile back and although it breaks my heart that he has this disease he is such a big fighter and considering that he has this disease he usually is quite a healthy little boy! Unfortunately he had to get a feeding tube done last year because of his weight not being high enough and he has issues being able to eat most foods as well except for his formula and food like that so he also has that now but again he doesn't see himself is different thankfully and deals with it really well! If I could give my life for the cure so my son could be cured of all of this I would do it in a heartbeat but that's not the way things work obviously so I am willing to do and want to do everything possible that I can towards that goal so he can have the best life that he could possibly have and that he deserves! I pray for all the little ones and the ones that are bigger now that fight this disease on a daily basis and that one day they can be cured of this! I appreciate anyone that's willing to help and do what they can and I would walk everyday all day long if it meant plenty of care for my baby boy!
