Time for GREAT STRIDES!!
Time for not only more tomorrows, but BETTER tomorrows for Weston and all CF warriors!
Weston has battled cystic fibrosis his whole life needing hospital stays, hours of daily breathing treatments and seemingly endless medications.
He is getting older, he’ll be going into middle school next year and has started to realize all of the ways CF complicates his life. Middle school years are hard enough when you're not dealing with almost daily belly aches, leg pain, headaches, and other difficult physical symptoms. And these are despite all of his treatments and efforts! He also turned 10 this year, which for CF kiddos means starting testing for CF related diabetes.
Trikafta and other treatments have made such a huge difference for Wes and they are thanks to funds raised from events like great strides!
He is a warrior for sure but he dreams of a day in his future without daily treatments and enzymes!
Because of the cystic fibrosis foundation and events like Great Strides, this dream of even better treatments and a cure is very much alive😊💜
