My CF Cycle for Life Story
Tom O'neill
Fundraising for Tri-Cities CF Cycle for Life
Tom O'Neill
I am cycling to raise funds and awareness for cystic fibrosis in honor of my great niece, Quinn, who has cystic fibrosis (CF).
Quinn is 12 years old and loves to play basketball, volleyball and softball! Quinn was diagnosed with CF when she was just 8 days old, and she and her family have been supporting the CF Foundation ever since. While it can be annoying at times, Quinn mostly forgets she has CF! She started taking Trikafta in July of 2021 and it has helped her breathe easier and get stronger. Unfortunately, not all people with CF can take medicine like Trikafta, so we continue to raise funds until there is a CURE for all people with CF.
Check out the Tri-Cities CF Cycle for Life event page for more event details. If you want to ride with us, click on our team name "All in for Quinn" to visit our team page and register to join our team.

Attention companies: check out the 2025 Tri-Cities CF Cycle for Life Sponsorship proposal to see how your company can earn benefits for your support.
There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and too many people with CF die young. I’m cycling to help change that reality.
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. While progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.
Will you help us end cystic fibrosis?
By donating to my fundraising goal, you have the power to advance the research and science needed to drive our shared dream forward – a cure for everyone with CF.
