The primary reason for my involvement with Great Strides over the past few years is the fact that my 6.5 year old daughter lives with CF, and so obviously I have the highest incentive possible in which to be involved with a fundraiser in support of the disease. It just so happens that I enjoy walking for exercise too, and so combining the inspiration Finley naturally provides me along with my other friends and family with direct ties to CF who continue to inspire me, I have all the fuel and motivation I need while taking to the course.
 

Another main reason as to why I Stride can be highlighted by the tremendous advancements and positive results in medicines and care for CF patients just in these first six and a half years of my daughter's life. We are seeing these amazing medical results develop right in front of our eyes, thanks in large part to the efforts in fundraising that are in integral part in allowing events such as Great Strides to take place. We have come a long ways, but there is of course still much that needs to be done for ALL CFers before CF will stand for Cure Found!!
