Honoring Andi, Breathing for a Brighter Future

Growing up, my cousin Andi was the very definition of courage- she faced her battle with cystic fibrosis every single day with a spirit that inspired everyone around her. Her laughter, her strength, and her kindness continue to live in our hearts, and not a day goes by that we don't think about her.
Running the Atlanta Half Marathon with the Breathe Team is my way of honoring Andi's memory, celebrating her incredible fight, and standing with everyone who is still battling this relentless disease.
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is more common than many realize, and its impact extends far beyond those living with the illness. In the U.S. alone, an estimated 1 in 31 people are carriers of the faulty CF gene- many don't even know it.
By running and raising funds, I want to support life-saving research, treatments, and care- so that Andi's legacy helps move the needle toward a cure, and so that others with CF can draw strength, hope, and resources from the love of their communities.
Thank you for being a part of this journey with me. Together, we can make a difference in finding a cure for everyone with CF.
