Bella-Rubye's Story
Angel Burnham
Fundraising for Augusta Great Strides 2026
Angel Burnham
Bella-Rubye is 18 months old, full of curiosity, bringing light and love for all things magical-especially Tinkerbell. With her bright eyes and sweet spirit, she brings joy to everyone around her, but behind her smile is a journey that requires incredible strength. Bella-Rubye has cystic fibrosis, a genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system, causing thick, sticky mucus to build up in the body and make it difficult to breathe and properly absorb nutrients. Because of this her days include treatments, medications, and extra care to keep her healthy, things most children her age never have to think about. Even at such a young age, she faces challenges with a quiet bravery that inspires everyone who knows her. She is a strong fighter, pushing through each day with resilience, courage, and a spark that refuses to dim. Whether she's playing, laughing, or imagining herself in a world of fairies and magic, Bella-Rubye reminds us that strength doesn't always look loud-it can be soft, determined, and beautifully brave.
So together with faith, trust, and pixie dust...
Will you help us end cystic fibrosis?
