Right now, there is no cure for cystic fibrosis (CF). Far too many lives are cut tragically short because of it. That’s why we’re walking – for Colt, Willow, and every person who battles CF every single day. We walk with hope. We walk with purpose. We’re asking for your support. Join the Aja’s Amigos at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Great Strides at the Q2 Stadium on May 10th either in person or by donating to our team. CF is a relentless genetic disease that attacks the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. It causes persistent infections, serious complications, and too often, leads to respiratory failure. It’s a fight no one should have to face.

Colt and Willow may look like ordinary teenagers, but their lives are anything but. Their days are filled with an hour of breathing treatments, multiple medications, and constant monitoring. Even with groundbreaking medications like Trikafta, they’ve faced infections requiring weeks of IV antibiotics. We’re now cautiously optimistic about a new therapy, Alyftrek, that Colt and Willow started this Spring. The CF community is hopeful it will help the CF channel work better to decrease infections, help digestion, have less side effects on mental health and the liver and most importantly to slow down the damage to the lungs. Even with this hope, there’s still no cure. We’ve come a long way thanks to supporters like you – but we’re not there yet. Not everyone can take these breakthrough medicines, either based on their genetic mutation or based on the side effects.
