My Breathe Team Story
Fundraising for BMW Berlin Marathon 2026

A note from William:
Hi and welcome to my first ever fundraising page!
My name is William and I was born with cystic fibrosis. That sounds scary, but because of really amazing doctors, scientists, geneticists and medicines, I've been able to live a happy life and do all the baby stuff I love to do.
Together with my parents, family and friends - we want to raise money so that other babies, kids, and adults with cystic fibrosis can have the same chance I do. The research you are helping to fund makes a huge difference, and it helps kids like me breathe easier and dream bigger.
My mom and best pal Emily Eliot, have chosen to fundraise while taking on the Berlin Marathon, running with the CFF Team Breathe. In order to run with the Breathe Team, they pledged to raise at least $8,000 to be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation! Will you help us meet that goal?
Thank you for the support, for caring, and for helping make the future even brighter for kids with CF. Every step and every dollar means so very much.
What is CF anyway?
CF is a genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe, digest, and fight off infections.
Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences its challenges differently. While progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible condition.
Will you help us end cystic fibrosis?
By donating to my fundraising goal, you have the power to advance the research and science needed to drive our shared dream forward – a cure for everyone with CF.
Sincerely,
William Everett
