I am incredibly proud to share that I will be running the 2026 Berlin Marathon in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation! This isn’t just a race for me—it’s a chance to contribute to a mission that changes lives. Cystic fibrosis is a challenging genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system, demanding strength, resilience, and daily courage from those who live with it. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has been a driving force in advancing research, improving treatments, and offering hope to countless individuals and families.
By taking on this marathon, I’m dedicating every mile to the fighters, the families, and the progress still to come. My goal is not only to cross the finish line in Berlin, but also to help raise awareness and funds that support groundbreaking research, vital care programs, and the pursuit of a cure.
This journey means pushing my own limits while honoring those who push theirs every single day. If you feel inspired to follow along or support the cause, I’d be deeply grateful. Together, we can make every step count and help move closer to a future where cystic fibrosis is no longer a life-limiting disease.
There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and too many people with CF die young. I’m running to help change that reality.
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. While progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.
