There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and too many people with CF die young. I'm running to help change that reality.
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections.
I was diagnosed with CF at 3 months old and want to help to find a cure, not only for myself, but the thousands of others dealing with my same reality.
A big part of my life has been athletics. Throughout my life, I always had trouble keeping up with my peers, but my hard work and determination has allowed me to persevere. I now have the privilege and honor to be playing college soccer with the University of Wisconsin- Whitewater, and want to use my athleticism so I can help find a cure!
