In a moment of complete insanity, I dared myself to run a half marathon. The incentive? To help cure Cystic Fibrosis - the only reason I would dream of attempting such a thing.
The Breathe Team is a partnership between Grandma's Marathon and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Together, they are raising money to fulfill the CF Foundation's mission to find a CURE.
And while I wouldn't have dreamed of attempting to run a half marathon pre-Trikafta, I'm ready to take on sore muscles and long miles because of the work of the CF Foundation to help fund its creation!
If you have a vested interest in finding out if this ol' gal with creaky knees and half-functioning lungs can run 13.1 miles, please consider donating to my page for the CF Foundation! All proceeds go to finding a CURE for CF, so when insanity strikes again, I will only have my creeky knees as an excuse.
