Shortly after we met. Rick was in a trial for Trikafta, a new CF modulator. I got to see firsthand the medical advances that were happening with medication and how they were improving quality of life.

Pretty quickly on, he had less hospital visits, higher lung function and coughing less. Because of these advances, I have been able to spend the last six and a half vears going on many adventures with Rick, including getting married in 2022, buying a house in 2023 and welcoming our son in 2024.
