On November 7th, I'm once again climbing a lot, a lot, a lot of steps (or at least trying) at The Linc! But that climb will be nothing compared to the fight people with CF go through in their lives just to breathe and live an everyday life!
Cystic fibrosis is a rare, life-shortening, genetic disease found in about 30,000 people in the U.S., which causes persistent lung infections and limits the ability to breathe over time.
I met Mary on a brewery tour in Bucks County many, many years ago. Since then, I have watched her fight this disease with the support of her wife, Jess. Mary is a true inspiration.
