There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and too many people with CF die young. I'm walking to help change that reality.
When Violet was born four year ago, her life expectancy was 44 years. Now, thanks to medications developed through research funded by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, she can expect to enjoy a normal life span!
The CF Foundation receives no money from the government, but all medical research is a collaboration across many research labs. Major cuts in any medical research impacts all medical research.
And that scares me.
But CFers are warriors, and we can't give up on them!
