Hi everyone,
It's that time of year that I raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. As you all know, our Grandson, Grayson was diagnosed with CF when he was 4 years old. At that time, there were only breathing therapies and medication for this terminal disease. His doctor was very adamant that we never lose hope for a cure. Fast forward to today and we are thrilled to see Grayson at 18 years old, driving and attending a community college for an applied science degree! We know without a doubt that Grayson would not have made it this far without the help of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundations push for new medications and therapies. We are so happy to say that Grayson is thriving due to a new medication and continues to do well.
Unfortunately, not all CF patients respond to this new medication and this is not a cure. So, yearly I strive to bring awareness and fundraise for this very worthy cause.
