My Great Strides Story

My daughter Tali was born with cystic fibrosis (CF) -  a progressive, genetic disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.

While progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.

Will you help us end cystic fibrosis?

Since its founding 70 years ago, the CF Foundation has made extraordinary progress. In the 1950s, people with cystic fibrosis weren’t expected to live long enough to attend elementary school. Today, people with CF are living into their 30s, 40s and beyond. The CF Foundation’s highly specialized

system of care and unique research enterprise has resulted in more than 12 approved therapies and added decades of life for people with CF. Yet, the most important and challenging work is ahead of us.

By donating to my fundraising goal, you have the power to advance the research and science needed to drive our shared dream forward – a cure for everyone with CF.
