My CF Cycle for Life Story

Fundraising for Chicago CF Cycle for Life
Steve Knipstein
Twenty-five years ago, our son Max was born with cystic fibrosis. At the time, life expectancy was 31 years, which motivate all of us to jump into the fight for the CF Foundation to raise needed dollars to fund therapies that can change the future for those living with the disease.
Through years of hard work and the generosity of supporters like you, the CF Foundation has done what seemed impossible by working alongside pharmaceutical companies to develop ground-breaking therapies that have significantly impacted our CF community.
Today, those born with CF are expected to live beyond 60 but the growing number of people with the disease requires us to remain focused on building programs and access to healthcare that is so vital, alongside even better new drug development.
That's why events like CF Cycle for Life are so important. Please join us in supporting this event and helping us all reach the time when CF can simply stand for Cure Found!
Will you help us end cystic fibrosis?
By donating to my fundraising goal, you have the power to advance the research and science needed to drive our shared dream forward – a cure for everyone with CF.
