The photo at the top of my page is from 2019.  That year, I ran the Chicago Marathon with my mom (that's her in the photo too).  We both finished.  More importantly, that year, I ran the marathon while supporting and raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.  There are several excellent charities from which to choose or support.  However, the CFF hit close to home.  My great friend and coworker, Bobby Hammond, has two daughters that are fighting this disease.  I run the 26.2 miles for my friend, for his family, for my family, and for myself.

Please help me support this charity's mission and to help all the people that fight the good fight every damn day.

There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis and too many people with CF die young. I’m running to help change that reality.

CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.

By donating to my fundraising goal, you have the power to advance the research and science needed to drive our shared dream forward – a cure for everyone with CF.
