Anna Flynn
Hi, I’m Anna.
I’m 23 years old and have been living with cystic fibrosis (CF) since just a few days after I was born. My journey with CF has been anything but easy — it’s been filled with challenges, setbacks, and moments of deep struggle. But today, I write this with a heart full of gratitude for the CF Foundation and the generous donors whose support has truly changed my life.
Since starting Trikafta, my health has drastically improved. So much so that running a marathon — something I never thought would be possible — is now within reach.
As grateful as I am for my own progress, it hurts me to know that this isn’t the reality for everyone with CF. This disease affects each of us so differently, and there’s still work to be done. Not everyone has access to the treatments that have helped me. Not everyone wakes up feeling well. And that’s why I’m so passionate about continuing to raise awareness and advocate for a cure.
My dream is for every person with CF to experience the freedom and peace that come with being healthy. It is a privilege to wake up each day feeling strong — something I will never take for granted.
This race is more than just a marathon. It’s a chance to show the world what’s possible through hard work, medical breakthroughs, and the generosity of donors. It’s a celebration of how far we’ve come — and a commitment to keep going until CF stands for Cure Found.
Let’s do this — together. 💜
Will you help us end cystic fibrosis?
By donating to my fundraising goal, you have the power to advance the research and science needed to drive our shared dream forward – a cure for everyone with CF.
