Run for a Cure:

Why I'm Running

As a lung transplant nurse practitioner, I've spent the last 14 years working closely with patients battling cystic fibrosis and the challenges of end-stage lung disease. I’ve seen firsthand the resilience and determination of these individuals as they undergo life-saving lung transplants. Their courage inspires me every day.
Running the Chicago Marathon is my way of honoring these incredible patients and supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s mission to find a cure. Every step I take is for those fighting to breathe easier, and every dollar raised brings us closer to a future free of cystic fibrosis.
