My Breathe Team Story
Emma Melone
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a devastating genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs, making it incredibly hard for people to breathe and fight infections. It often leads to severe lung damage and respiratory failure.
For me, this fight is deeply personal. My cousin Megan has cystic fibrosis. CF is unique to each person, and while Megan’s journey is her own, it is a constant reminder of how much more needs to be done. Although much progress has been made, there is still no cure. I aspire to have the determination, strength, and positivity of Megan. Therefore, I am dedicating my entire fundraising, training, and race to fight for Megan and everyone else with CF.
By donating to my fundraising goal, you’re supporting the research and breakthroughs that will one day lead to a cure. Together, we can give Megan and others with CF the chance they deserve to live longer, healthier lives.
Will you help me make a difference and end cystic fibrosis for Megan and everyone else fighting this disease?
