Welcome Payt’s Powerhouse!
This year will be our 12th walk, isn’t this amazing? We love this fundraiser and hope you do too. There has been so much change in the CF community and the care our warriors are receiving because of all your support! Payton is still an active participant in research and doing amazing. She had her best PFT (breathing capacity test) in March, 131%!!! The girl is setting new standards. She is also followed by endocrinology and gastroenterology for general health and maintenance.
Payton has grown over 4 inches this past year and is excited that she fits into her mom’s shoes. She is loving wrestling, drama, track, volunteering in kids ministry, and has decided to start dance again. It is also worth saying that she works really hard to be on the honor roll.
Payton was granted her wish last summer with the Make-a-Wish foundation. Miss Lainey Wilson and her team partnered with Make-a-Wish to give Payton a lifetime memory. In case you missed it, search Lainey Wilson grants wish and you’ll find her and Payton together in NYC with the Today show! The Make-a-Wish organization is hands down outstanding.
