Ethan’s Hummingbirds

Ethan is our amazing 6 year old, full of curiosity and compassion. He's creative, inquisitive, and opinionated (haha). And he's such an amazing big brother to Noah! He loves tinkering, taking things apart to see how they work, and playing with his favorite cat, Charlie. He also has Cystic Fibrosis: a rare, genetic, life-shortening disease that makes it difficult to breathe.

Ethan was diagnosed with CF at 3 weeks old, and those early days were tough! We were overwhelmed at times with learning how to care for our tiny newborn, and all the treatments and medications that go with this critical illness. In the past 6 years Ethan has had to do thousand of hours of breathing treatments, countless pills and medications, and so many medical procedures. And he is the bravest and strongest kid we know; he takes it all in stride. Of course he is always asking “why” he takes this or does that, but he’s learning to care for himself and advocate at a young age. We are so proud of the big kid he is becoming, and even though some days are truly tough, he is resilient and amazing!

We are walking on May 10th at Sloan's Lake to raise money for the CF Foundation. Please join our team, make a donation for Ethan, and help us get one step closer to a cure for cystic fibrosis. Every dollar donated goes to helping the CF Foundation develop life saving treatments for Ethan and all the other CF warriors, and continue the fight to find a cure!

Let's make CF stand for "Cure Found”! Will you join us?
