Marlee’s Magic
We did it again! In 2025, Team Marlee’s Magic raised over $115,000 in support of the Rocky Mountain Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. And fear not, our amazing community of over 200 strong will be back to do it again in 2026.
When Marlee was born, it was hard to imagine what her childhood would look like. We were so consumed in the moments and challenges that were all so new to us that we were not sure what our normal would be. Now here we are, six years later, and while we still experience our moments of health challenges, she is yet another fabulous first grader. A bubbly protective big sister full of heart, empathy, desire, and love. She embraces all the excitement that life has to offer and loves to try it all. From riding her motor dirt bike, Jiu-Jitsu, and skiing, she doesn’t stop. Things may shake her, but nothing stops her.
Looking back over 2025, Marlee had her health challenges, but nothing that was not manageable. She continues to thrive on Trikafta, which we will continue to express as the game changer medication for Marlee. It was that moment, in May of 2023, that we knew she would live a life similar to that of her peers. Will she still have challenges, of course, but watching her, we know nothing will stand in her way.
Entering our 7th year of fundraising on behalf of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, we believe that it is the donations and support of the Foundation that continue to provide Marlee and her fellow CF Fighters with a greater chance of living a life where their CF is manageable, where it a part of them but does not define them, and it hopefully means life in which CF will stand for Cure Found.
